Welcome to Columbia Neurosurgical Associates. Whether
you are a current, past or prospective patient, a concerned family member or
simply one interested in our medical services, we welcome you to our
practice. With two convenient locations within the Midlands area of
Columbia, South Carolina, our practice consists of seven board
certified/eligible physicians dedicated to the advanced treatment of
neurosurgical conditions and disease. As Neurosurgeons, our expertise is in
the diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting the spine, brain, spinal
cord, peripheral nerves and their supporting structures such as the blood
vessels, vertebrae, disks, skull, etc. Despite the very technical nature of
our specialty, our physicians choose to establish a relationship with each
individual and focus on the entire person, not merely the condition.
Within the world of Medicine today, the advances of
technology are often accompanied by the retreat of compassion. Our
physicians, while highly trained to utilize the latest in these diagnostic
and treatment advances, strive to foster and maintain the humanistic side of
caring for people with neurological conditions. Despite the fact that we
are specialized surgeons, the vast majority of our patients do not
undergo surgery and we utilize a wide array of non-operative treatment
options. When surgery is indicated as the best solution, we provide the
most advanced and the highest quality of care available. What was once a
specialty care relegated to only the largest of cities, is today available
to you near your home and family.
This web site is meant to serve those interested in our
practice, our physicians, our services and our medical specialty by way of
providing information. Please select from the headings above for more
specific or detailed information on the topic of your choice.
